Located just minutes from beautiful downtown Huron, the Dakotaland Museum provides visitors with a cost effective afternoon of fun and history.  Located on 3rd Street, on the South Dakota State Fairgrounds, the Dakotaland Museum houses and exhibits over 5,000 artifacts including the Kouf Family natural history collection of birds and mammals, a well-preserved log cabin, farm machinery, historic clothing, working musical instruments, a beautiful dish collection and items too numerous to mention!

We are open Memorial Day through Labor Day, M-F 9:30-11:30 am, 1-4 PM, and 6:30-8:30 PM, Saturdays 1-4 and 6:30-8:30, Sundays 1-4. Adult admission $2.00, children 6-12 Years $1.00 - family maximum $5.00.
